Crosstab to Sankey: paste a table, see the breakdown
Copy a table from Excel or a spreadsheet: the first row names the columns, the first column names the rows, every cell is a value. Paste it into the spreadsheet: the table becomes one flow from rows to columns, and extra header rows or columns (years, scenarios, continents) become dimensions to browse, in the Sankey as in the pivot table, donut and bars. Totals rows and columns are left out. You need to enable JavaScript to use this application.
When a bar chart is not enough
A budget by category and by month, sales by product and by region, a survey by answer and by group: a pivot table says how much, a Sankey shows where it goes. Widths are proportional, nothing to configure.
Then keep going
Switch from the Sankey to the ring, the bars or the pivot table, step through the dimensions, and export the image as PNG or PDF. No account needed. To draw a complete diagram, the
