Duo Sankey: two columns, a value at departure and one at arrival
One row per flow: origin, destination, value at departure and, when it differs, value at arrival. Type them in the Flows panel, or paste four columns copied from Excel: the diagram draws itself and follows every change. You must enable JavaScript to use this application.
A flow thicker at one end than at the other
Losses along the way, the yield of a transformation, a change of unit between what leaves and what arrives: each flow carries two values, and the drawing shows the gap. Each column adds up on its own side.
Columns with levels
Write a path, “World > Europe > France”, and the column gains levels: fold the countries under their continent, unfold them with one click, and the values add up. Each side folds independently of the other.
